There we were, parked outside of our favorite breakfast spot staring at a sign letting us know they would be closed for two weeks. In an attempt not to panic and let the hanger take over, I quickly looked this place up on the Yelp app. This is a solid place for breakfast or lunch, but make sure that you get there on empty because to portion sizes are ginormous! The service was fast and friendly despite them being packed for Sunday brunch. My one negative would be that this place is in desperate need of a face lift. Some of the ceiling tiles look ready to fall out, the furniture is at least 20 years old and, while they were addressing it (there were signs in the bathroom explaining things), the plumbing is in a bad way. Still, if you're looking for a good, hole-in-the-wall joint for a tasty meal at a decent price, give Marlee's a try. Just hold your bathroom trips for home.

Super fresh, clean, friendly, and good food. They offer a variety of veggie products that are completely homemade. No frozen veggie burgers, no premixed falafel. The staff was very very friendly. The place was filled with regulars who chatted away with the staff. They were really attentive and seemed to genuinely want to talk. I got the falafel pita and it was delicious. The fries were good too. Next time I'll try the veggie burger because I hear its an original recipe and very good. For the portion size, the price of the pita was about 9-10 dollars, but worth it.

Classic diner atmosphere. Hubs and I went for breakfast. We shared an omelet with cheddar bacon onion and tomato. Hash browns on the side. Excellent!!! Was a perfect omelet!

After eating at Marlee's this morning I almost feel ashamed that I have passed this diner up for IHOP more than once.. I've never had such amazing corned beef hash! Will never buy it canned again, or order it anywhere else. My beautiful lady friend and I ordered pancake & Belgium waffle slams for our main dishes. They both were huge portions and the bacon, sausage, and eggs were all cooked perfectly! Service and atmosphere were top notch too. Hands down, Best diner experience I have ever had - bar seating included just like what you see in the movies!

We went here for something small for dinner the waitress did not know what the specials were or the desserts. She handed us a piece of paper that had them on it. I ordered soup and salad and the soup was really good but when I ordered the salad I asked for no onions. When she brought the salad out it had onions on it I let the waitress know who she took it back to the cook and he removed the onions with his bare hands and then handed the salad back to the waitress to bring to me. That did not seem very sanitary.I will not go back here again.

Not bad breakfast! I come here once a month. It's pretty popular with the locals. You can't go wrong with bacon egg cheese sandwich with hash browns and French toast.

Went there for breakfast the food and service d very good... But the prices however were not... 30 bucks for 2 meals. That is ridiculous especially for breakfast, the waitress failed to tell us the would be an up charge for flavored French toast. I will never go back based off prices alone.

The service was great. Fast seating and fast service on the food. The only issue is the pasta was bland.. The chicken was soft and juicy though so the hero was the poultry. Definitely giving this place a second shot sometime.

Never disappointed. Been coming here for years now & whether it's the wholesome family meal or the hangover cure noontime breakfast, Marlee's always satisfies. While not the least expensive option in town, fast friendly service, filling portions, and an endless coffee flow are worth the extra dollar. Love the ever-changing chalk art behind the register! Best diner around.

This is such a great family place. Every time I go here it never disappoints. The service is great. Personally, I enjoy having breakfast here. The platters with all in it hashbrown, eggs, meats and so forth are the best deal.

I've worked in the area for several years and this is one of our favorite lunch spots. It seems like it's gonna be a typical Florida diner--yummy because it's so bad for you--kind of place (there's nothing wrong with that as far as I'm concerned). But this place has a lot of home made stuff with actual flavor that makes it really stand out. This includes items that would normally not be made in-house at a diner, such as hash, salad dressing, soup. It could be a little cleaner, and they could learn how to split a check, but if you like diners, this place is worth a try.

We stopped here after church for breakfast. Their prizes are a couple of dollars higher than an average diner, but their service was exemplary...a very tentative waitress. My husband had country stacker...he loved it. I had a special that included eggs, sausage and hash browns. The hash browns were amaZing. I fell you'll be very satisfied with your breakfast.

This place has terrible food, so low quality and way overpriced for what it is. By the time you do coffee and omelette you're looking at $20 out the door for one person just not acceptable for a sub par breakfast. I have had breakfast sandwiches and omelette from here all flavorless and not fresh while the staff stands around and talks about their personal issues that are way more than I or anyone else would want to hear.

It was Saturday morning, and I was looking for a diner to get a omelet, so I did what I usually do. Go to Yelp for help. Marlee's Dinner was the best rated place to have breakfast,in the area. I decided to give it a try. Pulling up to the place I knew it had to be good because the parking lot was full. I had to wait for a parking spot. Once I walked in, I immediately noticed that this place was a throw back. It felt like I was at a diner in New York. This must be the spot where all the retirees come to hang out and share old stories. That's what I found myself doing with them lol. Lets get to the food. I was starving, so the create your own omelet sounded like a great Idea. So I did what every growing starving man would. I started piling up the meat. I ordered a 3 egg omelet with bacon, turkey, avocado, cheddar cheese, sausage and mushrooms. I wish I had read the fine print before ordering; (each topping is either $2 or $3) I paid $19 for an omelet..Please don't judge me. I realized it after I paid the bill :(. I will give this place 4 stars because the food was really good and there was a good atmosphere

Went here on suggestion of a friend who is a local and boy oh boy we weren't disappointed. This is a nice large Diner with a very big menu with lots of items to choose from and also daily specials. Our waitress greeted us promptly and with a huge smile....she offered some of her favorites to help us out. I went with one of their Stacker's. Which are very filling....I chose the Sunrise Stacker which was the restaurants own corned beef piled on top of hash browns topped with scrambled eggs diced tomatoes cheddar cheese and hollandaise sauce. Very filling and tasty to boot.. My hubby went with a tasty and fluffy Belgian Waffle with a side of Corned Beef. His coffee was refilled without having to ask and our waters were even topped off. Would like to stop here again next time we are in FL to try more of their tasty offerings.

There today. Service was excellent. Some of the best service I have experienced in South Florida, and most importantly- the food was excellent. The burger was fresh and perfect and the fries were a perfect golden brown. Delicious. Would highly recommend. Will be back again when in the area.

If you're looking for a diner, this is a nice little spot if you're in the Deerfield beach area regardless if it breakfast or lunch you are craving. Staff is friendly and attentive, food is always on point and portions are good.

This is a decent neighborhood diner in DFB. Service was friendly and fast, no wait for seats. Food was OK. Eggs were good, coffee was watery and sausage was a bit over cooked (tough). Price was a bit high for what you get. Not the worst greasy spoon I've been to. Two stars only because I can't bring myself to give more than 3 stars to a greasy spoon.

Absolutely the WORST diner I have ever been to. Took my family for breakfast, waitress messed up my girlfriends order. When they brought the wrong food the waitress actually said, "I didn't hear what you ordered so I just assumed it was this." And when the food did come we had no silverware. We had to ask twice for more coffee because after the first time we asked the waitress got sidetracked sitting down to eat her own breakfast. When she finally did bring coffee she only filled my girlfriends cup, not mine. The cook must have rushed to correct my girls order because her french toast was raw dough in the middle. My order should have been simple, a BLT. There was only an eighth of a slice of tomato on the sandwich. At this point we asked for a manager. The manager came over with a plate of tomatos, we explained all of our concerns an all she could do was thank us for telling her, no apology given. The final straw was the ants crawling on the table, we couldn't even finish eating. When the check came not only was there no discount for our issues but they literally raped us. $2 extra for toast. $2 extra for coffee. $2 extra for cole slaw. Two kids breakfasts, french toast an a BLT was $40!!! Avoid this place like the plague!!

Ordered their roast beef dinner after being scolded about being specific as to which roast beef I wanted. It came with mashed potatoes and gravy with carrots. The gravy tasted old but the mashed potatoes were real and tasty as was the roast beef. Wife ordered the hotdog and sweet potato fries. The bread of the hotdog tasted stale but the hot dog was good along with the sweet potato fries. The fries did rank in the top 10. The prices were a little high for being a diner. The roast beef dinner was $14, a bit much for lunch at a diner.

It's crazy, but I really like this place for some reason. It feels really friendly, the food is decent, and I've never had to wait for a table. It's turned into my usual Sunday breakfast spot. The country fried steak is excellent, but the waffles are good too. They serve sausage from Emil's, made locally in Deerfield Beach.

Best old fashioned diner I've been to in ages. fluffy pancakes, might tasty sausage, and once over eggs that are not greasy.

Service is good, place is clean, plenty of parking, but the tomatoes in my Greek omelette were terrible. Not even close to being ripe. This place needs to pay more attention to detail on the ingredients used. Came here cuz got the typical rude New York attitude from Flakowitz in Boca

I've had the pleasure of going to Marlee's for many a hung-over brunch, and each time has been met with great service and excellent food. It's a bit on the greasy side, depending on your dish, but the soups are good, the fries are hot, and the coffee is good. Marlee's, in my opinion, is a reliable sort of go-to place that is always there if you just need somewhere to slump into and eat down. Nap afterward is recommended.

Decent for breakfast. Didn't feel in the way eating alone as they have the old-timey counter. My coffee was empty for a long time before refill however

I used to eat at this diner every week before I moved. And I must say to Cherine, I never got sick so something was off the day you went. I love their food, they have good burgers and fries and sandwiches. The services is usually great depending on who you get. They have good appetizers and lots of choices for dessert. If I still lived closeby I would still be eating here at least weekly. Their breakfast is also delicious, in fact now I feel like driving all the way to Deerfield to have some...

My mom and I came here for lunch, and we both enjoyed our meals. I had two scrambled eggs, home fries and bacon with whole wheat toast and grapefruit juice. My mother had pot roast with mashed potatoes and gravy, with a side salad and an iced tea. We both left here happy, and I thought I'd be coming home to write a nice review of the place. Too bad I got sick with food poisoning as soon as we got home. My mom did too a few hours later. We had two completely different meals, and yet both of us got sick from their food. Sorry, Marlee, I'll be going to the IHOP across the street from now on.

Walking in I immediately felt like I was in a diner off the jersey turnpike...but that's not a bad thing at all. We went around 1 on a Saturday and ordered breakfast. I ordered something called a southern stacker. It was biscuits, home fries, cheese, eggs, sausage, and white sausage gravy. It was amazing...and I'm sure extremely healthy. I really liked the way the eggs were cooked...kind of in thin layers, but still scrambled. My boyfriend ordered the corned beef hash, I thought it was great and it disappeared quickly so he must have too. The waitress was very attentive and out water/coffee was always full. I'm not a coffee drinker but my boyfriend did mention that it wasn't the best coffee...though it didn't seem to stop him from drinking his normal 3-4 cups. I subtracted a star partially for the coffee and partially because I'm not sure all their ingredients were of the highest quality...the sausage seemed like it may have been frozen patties/links...but mixed in with everything it was still great. I look forward to trying more.

The restaurant is dated but clean. We thought it would be ok. The food quality is poor. The meats are frozen and thawed rather than fresh and taste freezer burn. After eating there last night, my husband couldn't make it home and we had to stop for him to use a filthy gas station bathroom. He pooped his pants! Both my children ate grilled cheese sandwiches and had explosive diarrhea! We will obviously NEVER eat here or recommend this restaurant!!! Yuck!!!

Marlee's diner is such a gem. They have vegan options which is amazing!! Their vegan burger is full of seeds and grains. It's one of the best Vburgers around. They also have a vegan chocolate cake that is to die for. Most everything they serve is homemade and you can't beat the service. Family ran. Great people! My favorite restaurant in the area.

First time I went to Marlee's this past Sunday after living near it for the past 3 years and it was fantastic. You get the feeling of a real diner off a major highway in the country. The service was great, and I ordered a southern stacker. It was amazingly delicious. So much food. Can't wait to come back again.

Restaurant was clean and friendly waitress. I ordered sausage gravy and biscuits with home fries. My food came promptly and hot, which was the only highlight. It came with two very small absolutely tasteless sausage patties that were dried out. The sausage gravy was the same - absolutely tasteless and flour tasting. The home fries and coffee were good. I won't be a return customer. You would think they would sample the food that they intend to serve.

The food and service were both very good for our Sunday breakfast. We are out of towners who stopped in before heading out to the Orlando airport. We enjoyed our breakfast.

Marlee's Diner is a nice diner in the DFB area. They have Gyros, that makes Marlee's Diner A-OK in my book. The service was fast and friendly and Marlee's Diner is clean. They even have a Hi Def LCD. Something that the Flo, IHOP, Denny's and Lesters all lack.
